Project Name: Outdoor Tennis Court Construction Project, Australia
Construction Period: Jul. 2026
Main Product: Artificial Turf
Project Location: Australia

Artificial‑turf tennis courts are constructed with curled artificial grass yarn as the core surface material. Featuring sport characteristics simulating natural grass and professional design tailored for tennis, they have become a popular choice for indoor & outdoor tournaments, campus teaching and public fitness. Their core advantage lies in balancing athletic performance, durability and easy maintenance, perfectly addressing the pain points of high‑maintenance natural grass and heavy impact from hard courts.
The grass yarn adopts S‑shaped / wavy curling technology, with monofilament diameter of 0.8‑1.2 mm, pile height of 15 mm and stitch density ≥50400 /㎡. The curled structure enhances inter‑yarn entanglement to resist flattening. Meanwhile, it delivers elastic touch similar to natural grass, providing ball rebound close to natural turf.
Ball‑rebound coefficient: 0.50‑0.55 (close to natural grass); friction coefficient: 0.7‑0.9. It ensures stable ball rhythm while allowing moderate sliding movement, meeting the technical requirements of tennis sports. UV stabilizers are incorporated into grass yarn, delivering anti‑UV‑aging performance of ≥5000 hours. No discoloration or cracking occurs after 5‑year outdoor exposure.
The elastic cushioning layer absorbs over 70 % of impact force with vertical deformation of 3‑5 mm, effectively lowering injury risks for ankles and knees. It is especially suitable for youth training and high‑frequency long‑term usage scenarios.
No watering, mowing or fertilizing required. Only occasional cleaning of fallen leaves and dust with brooms or blowers, plus one‑off flatness inspection per year. Its maintenance cost is less than 1/10 of that for natural grass.
