Artificial turf tennis courts are constructed with curled artificial grass yarn as the core surface material. By simulating the sports characteristics of natural grass and featuring professional design adapted to tennis scenarios, they have become a popular choice for indoor and outdoor competitions, campus teaching, and national fitness. Their core advantage lies in balancing sports performance, durability, and maintenance convenience, perfectly addressing the pain points of traditional natural grass such as high maintenance costs and hard courts with strong impact.
Curled Grass Yarn Structure Design: The grass yarn adopts an S-shaped/wave-shaped curling process, with a single filament diameter of 0.8-1.2mm, height of 15mm, and density ≥50,400 clusters/㎡. The curled shape enhances the entanglement between grass yarns to prevent lodging, while simulating the elastic touch of natural grass, making the ball rebound closer to that of natural courts.
Professional Performance Adaptation: The ball rebound coefficient is 0.50-0.55 (close to natural grass), and the friction coefficient is 0.7-0.9. It not only ensures stable hitting rhythm but also allows moderate sliding, adapting to the technical requirements of tennis. The grass yarn is added with UV stabilizers, with UV aging resistance ≥5,000 hours, maintaining no fading or cracking for 5 years of outdoor use.
Sports Safety Protection: The elastic buffer layer can absorb more than 70% of the impact force, with a vertical deformation of 3-5mm, effectively reducing the risk of ankle and knee injuries. It is particularly suitable for youth training and long-term high-frequency use scenarios.
Ultra-Low Maintenance Cost: No watering, mowing, or fertilization is required. Only regular cleaning of fallen leaves and dust with a broom or hair dryer is needed, plus an overall flatness inspection once a year. The maintenance cost is less than 1/10 of that of natural grass.
